1. National Grid's High Court application for an injunction against landowner Rosalind Craven of Huby is to be heard 3rd and 4th December in Leeds. Rosalind Craven has on 19.11.02 made a cross-application (a kind of counter claim) against NG, that is "applying for an Order that the Court strike out the claim of  National Gridon the grounds that

(a) the statement of National Grid's case discloses no reasonable grounds for bringing the claim and

 (b) the case is an abuse of the Court's process or is otherwise likely to obstruct the just disposal of the proceedings".

2. A customer-satisfaction survey has been issued by Revolt to landowners affected by the NG Lackenby - Picton - Shipton grid lines. It is careful to be objective, fair and balanced and to use good survey practice. Peter Edmonds, NFU Officer for Northallerton, has agreed to audit the survey and report. It is clear National Grid has never done anything like this, and will not have an objective and systematic basis for assessing customer satisfaction or for assessing the conduct of its staff and contractors. A full report on the survey will be published (without identifying or naming any individuals) and will be sent to the NG Chairman.
